Mary, mother of Jesus
As we approach this Christmas season, I have had Mary on my mind. How young she was, how scared she must have been, how brave she was, how she felt as she held baby Jesus for the first time, did she know the magnitude of people that He would touch?
I sketched out a simple picture, trying to think what to do next to it. For now, it is a sketch, but this week, I will add color and make her come to life.... all the while, still wondering, as a Mother, about how her heart must have felt....
Happy Sunday to all the Sunday Sketchers at http://www.bluechairdiaryillustrations.com/2012/12/sunday-sketches.html
Have a great day!!

You are right--our blessings are not in things or in what we make it, they are straight from the hand of God. Family is foremost in my life! I am thankful for each and everyone of them! And . . . I am thankful for what Mary did. Thanks for sharing!
