Bolick Pottery and Tradition Pottery

I love meeting new friends online! I have had fun getting to talk with Janet Calhoun through my etsy site. She ordered some note cards and then asked about having some to sell for her store  in the mountains of North Carolina. As we have gotten to know a little bit more about each other, I realized that I had even been to her store a few months ago and didn`t know it. We were in Blowing Rock visiting some dear friends and we all walked around the town and looked into most of the stores there on the main street. It is a great shopping area and her store is the perfect place to find beautiful pottery
and many more unique items.

Traditions Pottery is located in the North Carolina mountains just south of Blowing Rock NC. Mike and Janet Calhoun produce handmade pottery in traditional shapes such as face jugs, Rebekah pitchers, candle sticks, mugs, bowls, and teapots. Two kiln openings are hosted each year, in June and November. They are 5th and 6th generation potters.

Bolick Pottery and Traditions Pottery located in the Martin House on Main Street in Blowing Rock NC, features Bolick, Traditions, and Original Owens Pottery, and other local and regional handmade arts. The store offers gardening, seasonal, and inspirational items.
