About once a year I pull out the recipe for this special dessert, White chocolate bread pudding and make it for Christmas. It is too rich to have often but on this special day, it is a treat to finish up lunch with this waiting in the kitchen for dessert.... I am not a huge bread pudding fan but once I had this, I was hooked... ENJOY!!!
White Chocolate Bread Pudding
4 cups heavy whipping cream
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons vanilla
12 oz. pkg white chocolate chips
1 lb. Pepperidge Farm French bread, hot and crusty.( I got the twin package)
Tear bread into small pieces. Mix together 4 cups of cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla and 1 pkg of white
chocolate chips. Pour over bread pieces. Let soak for 30 minutes, Mix and pour into greased 9x13 inch pan.
bake 350 for 45 minutes, May take less or a little more, top should look a bit brown.
Melt Icing in microwave....
12 oz. pkg. white chocolate chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Melt 2nd package of white chocolate chips with 1 cup of whipping cream. Heat, stir, heat, stir, til smooth.
Pour icing over warm bread pudding.
I mixed the 4 cups of heavy whipping cream with 1 cup skim milk, then divided the 4 cups and 1 cup. ENJOY!!!
